EA anuncia fechamento de servidores

A Electronic Arts anunciou uma série de fechamentos de servidores para seus jogos. A partir da próxima semana, títulos de peso perderão seu suporte a partidas online e outras funcionalidades extras.

Troféus e conquistas, no PlayStation 3 e Xbox 360, são bons exemplos destas funcionalidades. Os que solicitam algum tipo de atividade online ficam completamente inacessíveis.

Em seu site oficial, um representante da EA noticia a triste novidade com grande pesar. "A decisão de desligar servidores nunca é fácil de se tomar. As equipes de desenvolvimento colocaram seu coração nestes games da mesma forma que os jogadores. Por isso é muito triste ver qualquer um deles partindo. Esperamos que vocês tenham se divertido por muitas horas nestes jogos e apreciamos seu apoio", comunica.
